Atlantica Online TBS Battle of Changban

This is the first of the new TBS missions, is not an easy TBS for the lvl they propose, for my form, was very easy, but i can't imagine if i were a lvl 90-100 :S

Well, lets do this.

Is not a complex mission, you have to do only 3 thinks, protect your base, don't let your allied Zhang Fei died, and kill the boss Xiahou Ba, who is between two enemy gates :D

I mean... is hard for a low lvl party, but is not complex.

Level: 90
Mobs: Spears, Gun
Boss: Spear 105
Regard: 3 x General's Loot

Strategic Map

Step by Step

1. Defense the bridge, they will attack more or less 2 times.

2. After that, without moving from dridge, the other player, must protect the right side from 2 attacks.

3. Until the other player must protect the left side for other 2 attacks.

4. After this, all of you have to go to kill the boss, catapult would be great to destroy the gates.

Tips

1. Human Wall
A good way to kill a boss, is using the Human Wall Strategy just as picture shows. Sorry about this human wall with the boss already dead, i had no time to toke the picture :D

Atlantica Online - Formation Builder Guide

This is not a guide for Pro-Players, this is a Formation Builder Guide designed for new people under lvl 80. If you are lvl 80 or above and you don't know what is the best choice for your formation, maybe you are not new, you are no0b :D

If you want to read my guide you must meet the following requirements:

1.      Don't even think about Class A & B mercenaries.

2.      You must believe that there are some mandatory mercenaries in your formation that will works good in PvP and PvE.

3.      If you are PowerSaw and you come here, you are no0b! and I don’t like you.

4.      When I say hire that #@%! Mercenary, you will say: As you wish!

It’s OK? Good, let’s continue...

Mandatory Mercenaries

- Monk

- Viking

- Exorcist

- Shaman or Oracle

Formation is like football

Let’s think about football :D I think a good formation should have something like this 3-3-2, this means, 3 Melees, 3 Longs, 2 Staff, and your Main char.

This is a basic formation, Pro-people can use something different, but remember you are not yet PRO.

WTF the monk does?

Is simple words, the monk protects your ass.

He has two Passive skills, and you can use only 1 at a time:

1.    Protection (Default passive skill)

2.    Shield of Protection

Protection: Increases the main character's defense and restores health every turn. This mean, that if somebody hits you, he will do anything about it, but when you get your turn, you will receive a health.

Shield of Protection: Increases the main character’s defense and restores health when main character takes damage, this mean, every time that you get a hit, monk will health you.

So… what passive skill should you use?

In my opinion it should be this way:

Protection: Sword and PowerSaw Mains

Shield of Protection: Spear, Axe, Staff, Bow, Cannon, Gun, Instrument

Protection should be use for people with a lot of physical defense an low Magic defense.

Mercenary replacement

How should you replace your mercenaries?

Spearman, is not good if you don't have strategy, and you will get that strategy only when you are good, and you know what? you are not good yet, so... fire that spearman. and try to get another good tank mercenary for your front line, maybe a BT or Exorcist.

Swordman, is a good tank, but is not the best one, try to get another good mercenary for your front line, maybe a BT or Exorcist.

Gunner is good, but she has the must useless skill in the game, so try to replace her for other good gun  mercenary, maybe an Inventor, and then replace inventor for Jannisary.

Archer is good, but there are other better mercenaries, like Prophet, so if you like BOWs, then repalce your Archer for Prophet.

Artilleryman, is very good for you under lvl 80, and the only one that can replace him is the Cannonier at lvl 87, replace it when you can.

Shaman is great or your formation, and the only one who can replace her is Oracle at lvl 76, replace your Shaman when you get that lvl.

Your monk is the Most Valuable Player of your formation, even if you think is not (remember you are new)

Circumstancial Mercenaries

Witch

This is a great mercenary, very strategic, but... does not fit in all the formations or mains, you should read a completed guide bout her :D

Princess

She is just great and she is a powerful weapon and instrument if you are long, but similar to witch. under lvl 100 sometimes is not than great.

So your formation should see like this:

Viking       - Main        - Any Melee

Any Long - Exorcist    - Any Long

Monk        - Any Long - Any Healer

Remember, this is a basic formation, when get more experience in battle, you will do a great job building your new formation.

Atlantica Online - Making Money With Crafting

I know some of you maybe are thinking to be rich by doing crafting, but... have you ever wondered, what things should i carft?

Well, i know there are a lot of people there making money with crafting, and i know, some of them don't do the things that i do, but.. everyone has their own way.

If you want money with crafting, you most meet certain requirements:

1. Average knowledge about the game.
2. Average lvl for your Main (100 is good, 120 is better)
3. Patience.
4. Business Sense.
5. Opportunist.

And I think the most importan of those 5 requirements is "Patience"... and what i mean?

1. If you have to craft for 2 days, do it with auto-craft and battle, but.... DO NOT waste your money with Crafting books of workload 1,000,000 and 5,000,000.
2. If you know you need to sell your stuff in 5,000,000 each one to recover some money, and other persone put cheaper price, let it go, but do not lower your price.
3. There are two high seasons in the week: weekend for cheaper stuff like medicine, scrolls, bullets and... from monday to friday you can rule the market with expensives items, like Skills, Crystals and other things.

What Craft Skills do I use for large amount of money?

1. Crystal
2. Book
3. Medicine

Crystals are just great, you can recover your invesment and earn 50% more on each patch. The more limited is the crystal, the better the price.

Book is a rare skill. You will lose a lot of money with the first lvl, because all the books you will craft are crap, but... when you reach the correct lvl, and start to craft Spartan, Elementalist, Empress, Druid skills... you will notice that you can recover your invesment and earn more than 100% of your money... yeap... it's that good.

Medicine is rarest than Book, most of the sutff are not good to sell, but there are 2 good thinks to sell, Secret Vial of Potential II and Elixirs V yeap... Potentials saved my life. With Potential i converted 400,000,000 into 2,000,000,000 in 2 weeks :P

Make money is not for all the people, some persons will read this and they will not earn money, and others will read and make a lot of money, maybe more than me.

Atlantica Online - How to make money with TBS

Well, i always hear about people who makes a lot of money with TBS, i hear comments like "I do 360M each weekend" "you can get a lot of money with the rewards", so... i started to make TBS, and got some boxes and when i got it i said "WTF, and now what? how can i do 360M with these shit?"

Well, sometimes we already know how to do that money, but most of the time we forget how to do it :D just like me.

So here is a brief guide.

1.- So... what do you get from TBS rewards?

2.- What do these reward contains?

Battlefield Treasure Chest
Contains items like Exp Books, crystals of all types, is not good enoght and you will get no good money with them. Of course if you are low level any free item is great. But the think is, you will not be reach with Battlefield Treasure Chast.

Troy Battlefield Loot
You can choice 1 of two items:
- Atlantis Silver Coins x 10
- Battlefield Treasure Chest x 1

Troy Warrior's Loot
You can choice 1 of two items:

- Atlantis Silver Coins x 20
- Warrior's Treasure Chest x 1 (some items like Aeolu's Horn, Crystals, Mysterious Vials etc)


Troy Victory Loot
You can choice 1 of three items:
- Atlantis Gold Coins x 10
- Evil Imprint x 3
- Victorious Treasure Chest x 1 (Champions required items, Champions Skills, Crystals etc)

3.- What do I choose to make money?
Well, i think my "Lucky" sucks! so, i don't like to picking the Chest, i always go for coins.

3.1.- NPC Crassus
He buys any tradable items at a very low price. He also deals with gold coins and Atlantis Coins.

3.2.- TBS 76 Fortress Assault

If you Squad SOLO this TBS you will get: 12 Troy Battlefield Loots.
10 Silver Coins x 12 = 120 Silver Coins

Now go to NPC Crassus and change your Coins for money
120 Silver Coins x ~300,000 Gold = 36,000,000 Gold

Good right? not everybody can earn 36M in less than 40 minutes, alone and investing no more than 3M in TBS fee, skills and elixirs.

3.2.- TBS 101 Fleeing Betrayer

If you Squad with 1 friend (remember: my guides are for normal people, i can not 1 shot kill any mob, and definetly i can not squad solo this TBS) and do at least 1 bonus quest in this TBS, you will get: 9 + 1 Bonus x Troy Warrior's Loots.
20 Silver Coins x 5 Boxes each one  = 100 Silver Coins

Now go to NPC Crassus and change your Coins for money
100 Silver Coins x ~300,000 Gold = 30,000,000 Gold

And.. what about if you can Squad Solo this TBS?
20 Silvers x 10 Boxes = 200 Silver Coins
200 Silvers x  ~300,000 Gold = 60,000,000 Gold

3.3.- TBS 116 Hidden Power

If you go with 2 friends in Saquad mode, you will get: 12 x Troy victory Loots.
10 Atlantis Gold Coins x 4 Boxes each one = 40 Atlantis Gold Coins

Now go to NPC Crassus and change your Coins for money
40 Gold Coins x ~3,000,000 Gold = 120,000,000 Gold
And this is the best think:
You want to spend your TBS coins once at week, you don't care about to pay more for the same TBS, 10 TBS points first time, 15 TBS points second one and 20 TBS points third one = 45 TBS points, and for your poket that means:
120 Gold Coins x ~ 3,000,000 = 360,000,000 Gold in 1 day

Well and you can make your own calculation for the others TBs missions.

The think is that now i can buy 1 or 2 Nix items +1 peer week, or the worse escenary only 1, without buy thinks in Item Mall.

For first time in my life i can say, i don't spend real money in my game and that worths for me :P

This day Muramasa showed me that my mercs over lvl 80 that have an off-hand can use Guardian Stone for defense :D Yes, i was a completly no0b, and you know what? is fune, and i enjoyed it :P

My first strategy

I read in the AO Forum, that you can use your witch to tank your Viking, and that your witch has a very good skill calling Mana Drain... OMG i won a lot of battle with Freez + Mana Drain + Mana Burn, holy $#!* i was very good :D

Atlantica TBS Lv. 60 - Base Defense

The second TBS, and in my opinion one of the most difficult low lvl TBS. If you do it SOLO Mode is hard, in Squad it would be easy.

General Information

Name: Base Defense
Level: 60
Mobs: Bow 60, Spear 70
Boss: Gun 72, Sword 73
Regard: 8 x Battlefield Treasure Chest


Strategic Map

Step by Step


1. First of all, go to Base Camp and try to lvl up your first Training Material, this will let you lvl up later your attack, defense and other skills.
Then, go to point 1 and kill those mobs.
2. Be careful in here, try to follow the green path, if you don't, you will receive a lot of mobs coming from the Mobs Gate, and the first Boss will attack you and you will may die. Just kill these mobs and then go to the point 3.
3. Kill these mobs, and always keep at least 1 melee behind you. Remember.. you left a Mob Gate in the back.
4. Kill the Boss using my popular Human Wall :P


Tips
1.- Why no to kill the first Boss?
This is the most difficult part, and i don't recommend to go to the first Boss, you don't need it. Is hard to fight in these Halls, if you watched that movie "300" you will know what I'm talking about. 

 I call these two halls, the dead zone. If you enter there you will be surrounded by Mobs, 1 Boss, Gate Mobs, and any enemy magic will hit all your formation. so... as i said before, is like the 300 movie, but this time you are not Spartan :D


2.- Human Wall
A good way to kill a boss, is using the Human Wall Strategy just as picture shows:

3.- For this TBS i used a different formation, some of my mercs are because they are very good for TBS and other are in here because i have no options :D
As you can see in the picture above:
- PSaw Main
- Viking (because is good in TBS)
- BT (because  have no other good options)
-Witch (because is good in TBS)
-Prophet (because i have no other good options)
- Shamy (because my Oracle is not ready yet)


Personally I hate my BT in TBS, she is just a good tank, but BT skill in TBS sucks.. 4 square attack :S
And I love my Witch in TBS with a lot of mobs, because Met Strike is the best skill in TBS, you can kill and entire formation of Mobs with 1 hit if you have a good lvl skill.
